PURPOSE

The primary responsibility of the Bank of Zachary Account Services Representative is to provide prompt, courteous service to the clients, promote professionalism, confidentiality, and the desire to assist customers. Maintaining a focus on enhanced customer experience is a priority for this position.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma

EXPERIENCE

  • 2 years or more Customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of retail banking and electronic banking operations preferred

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Help customers with all Deposit accounts inquires including IRA’s and CD’s.
  • Posts, reconciles and research exception transactions.
  • Process daily maintenance of debit card rewards.
  • Resolves debit card processing issues with emphasis on Customer Experience
  • Monitor several email accounts and chat services.
  • Review all new deposit accounts, Certificates of Deposit, Savings accounts and IRA’s for accuracy and compliance.
  • Ability to work in multiple networks simultaneously with dual monitors.
  • Research, process and resolve Credit Service inquiries, tax levies, garnishments and Debit Card fraud and lost/stolen cards.
  • Process and monitor mobile deposits.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to effectively prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner and the ability to work independently.
  • Personal integrity for protecting and keeping customer information confidential. 
  • Good understanding of the Microsoft Suite, especially Excel and Word.
  • Must be able to use office equipment such as a copier, computer, postal machine, printer, and fax machine. 
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must possess the ability to effectively work with colleagues and on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure work is completed effectively and within established deadlines and compliance.
  • Ability to work with highly sensitive and confidential information.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Assist customers by phone, online, email or in-person.
  • Open office environment, answer phone with a headset
  • Working hours on Monday – Thursday 8:00-4:30 and Fridays 8:00-5:30.
